Co-designed by Rupert Neve and ideal for use with acoustic instruments, percussion, vocals, and both studio and live recording, this capsule sports an excellent transient response.

The RN17 Cardioid Capsule is designed to pick up subtle nuance and delicate high-frequency content. Each capsule is handcrafted and individually tuned for precision and consistency. The hand-made brass housing provides durability and excellent shielding from electrical interference.
