Placed between a 4K source and a display, the AU-11CD-4K22 passes HDMI 2.0 video through while taking the audio out to optical and analogue stereo. It supports 4K60 4:4:4 with HDR and HDCP 2.2, with sample rates up to 192kHz on HDMI and S/PDIF. The optical output can carry bitstream audio up to 5.1 for a soundbar or receiver, and the RCA output serves powered speakers from LPCM 2.0 sources.
