Trussing & Staging

Structural hardware for building a show: aluminium truss, modular stage decking, rigging equipment, clamps, drapes and crowd barriers. The range is drawn mainly from Global Truss, Elumen8, ELLER, VMB, Konligo and LEDJ, and runs from a single half coupler to full structures and stages that take a band. Production companies, venues, AV integrators and schools all buy from the same shelves here, usually to extend stock they already own.

Each section handles a distinct part of the build. Truss carries the structural sections themselves, including Global Truss F24, F32 and F34 series parts along with the conical connectors, bullet pins and R clips that join them. Clamps And Couplers is where fixtures meet the structure, with half couplers, swivel couplers and boom arms sized to standard tube. Rigging holds the suspension side, including chain hoists, shackles, round slings, steels and beam clamps. Staging is built around the Global Truss GT Stage Deck system, its legs, steps and guard rails. Stands And Brackets covers support hardware for smaller rigs, Pipe And Drape and Drape Systems handle room dressing with telescopic frameworks and serge or molton cloth, and Barrier Systems adds front-of-stage crowd control.

Compatibility is the recurring theme and the most common reason a delivery goes back. Truss series are not interchangeable: F24 and F32 differ in tube diameter, chord spacing and connector type, so a conical that looks right may not be. The same applies to couplers, which are sized to a specific tube diameter, and to thread sizes on brackets and spigots. If you are adding to an existing stock, check the series stamped on your own sections or send us a photograph before ordering.

Anything that goes overhead or takes weight is work for a competent person. We supply the hardware and the manufacturer documentation with it, and we do not publish load figures or rigging instruction, because span, loading, bracing and ground conditions are specific to the job and belong with whoever is signing for it. Which truss series do I need? Pick the profile for the span and load first, F24 display work up to F34 square for production spans, then buy connectors and corners within the same series. Mixing series is where rigs go wrong.
