Brings a welcome increased sensitivity over a Beta58 - Somewhere between my Beta58 and my SM86 Condenser. Punchier sounding to me, with a well documented reduced proximity effect. Surprisingly little EQ required and seems fquite eedback friendly so far (I have it rolled off 5db for a still healthy gain signal). All in all this mic will suit many.
