A 3m 5-pin XLR DMX cable for linking fixtures on the 5-pin DMX512 standard. 3m is the jumper length – enough to daisy chain between adjacent fixtures on a bar or truss without leaving slack hanging, which is why crews tend to buy these in bulk rather than one at a time.

Why 110Ω mattersThis is proper 110Ω data cable, not repurposed microphone cable. Mic cable is around 50-75Ω and causes reflections on a DMX line, which shows up as flicker or dropped fixtures at the far end of a long chain. Worth keeping in mind when a rig is made up of a dozen short jumpers – every link in the chain counts.
