ZX1i-100T is the transformer version of the ZX1i-100, adding a tapped 70V/100V transformer with EV’s Automatic Saturation Compensation to the same 8″ woofer, 1″ compression driver and rotatable 100° x 100° horn. ASC prevents low-frequency transformer saturation, so EV says the high-pass filter does not need raising as more speakers go on the line. It suits distributed constant-voltage installations, and EV lists EN54-24 Type B certification when the separately sold TC-ZX1i cover is fitted.
