Most of this is cheap enough to carry in duplicate, and a dead cable, a lost pick or a slipped strap is the easiest way to lose time on stage. For a gig bag or backline drawer, a sensible starting point is a spare instrument cable, a pack of picks in two weights, a clip-on tuner, a string winder and cutter, and a strap lock set.
