Guitar Tools & Care

This is the maintenance end of the guitar range: the tools for restringing and setup, the products that look after an instrument between gigs, and a few small fixes for stage problems. It is mostly D’Addario, with the Chord PB-959 Pedal Power Bank.

For restringing, the Pro-Winder String Winder and Cutter (in White or Black) handles winding and trimming in one tool, and the Tour Grade String Cutter is the heavier option for anyone changing strings all day. The Guitar and Bass Multi-Tool covers the usual truss rod and saddle adjustments, and the String Height Gauge lets you measure action properly rather than by eye, which matters when a hire guitar has to come back the same as it went out.

For care, XLR8 String Lubricant/Cleaner wipes down strings after playing, and Lubrikit eases the nut and saddle so strings return to pitch after bends. The Humidipak Automatic Humidity Control System sits in the case to keep a guitar’s humidity steady, with Humidipak Replacement Humidity Packets when the pack runs out.
