The kit is moulded in tough ABS and comes as body, lid and clamp with all the screws and fitting instructions needed to install it into an internally wired lighting bar.

Fitting a Smart SocketSmart Sockets suit standard 48.3mm OD aluminium scaffold tube. Fitting needs one 16mm hole drilled in a single wall of the tube — press the socket in, tighten the two self-tapping screws, then run your wiring. Full instructions and all screws are in the box.
Check internal clearance before you machine itThe Smart Socket body has finite depth. Confirm your chosen connector physically fits inside before cutting the lid.
