Power Cables

Mains leads and extensions for stage and event work, built predominantly by Elumen8 and LEDJ on H07RN-F rubber flex. The range covers powerCON TRUE1 TOP extensions, 13A to TRUE1 fixture leads, Schuko to TRUE1 adaptor cables, PowerTwist TR1 IP65 assemblies, IEC leads and TRUE1-fed 13A four-gang breakouts, with Mennekes-ended options alongside.

Start from the two ends. The lead has to match the fixture inlet on one side and whatever the distro actually offers on the other, which is why 13A to TRUE1 and Schuko to TRUE1 conversions dominate real-world rigs: the fixture manufacturer and the venue rarely agree. Check the inlet on your own fixtures before ordering a batch, because powerCON TRUE1 and the original powerCON are deliberately not intermateable, and a box of the wrong ones is an expensive afternoon.

Jacket and conductor size are the next two decisions. H07RN-F rubber flex is the right specification for stage and site use: it shrugs off abrasion, stays flexible in the cold and survives being dragged and coiled wet, where PVC hardens and cracks. Conductor size should be matched to the load and the run length, with 1.5mm² covering typical fixture-level loads across the lengths stocked here and 2.5mm² where the current or the distance rises. For outdoor and damp positions, pick the IP-rated TRUE1 TOP and TR1 IP65 assemblies rather than taping over a standard connector.

Breakouts deserve a second look before they are daisy-chained. A four-gang on the end of a single drop concentrates four loads onto one circuit, and it is easy to end up with far more connected than the feed allows once other people start plugging in. Add the draw up first, and label the drop with what it is feeding.
