Lights for parties, clubs, discos and mobile DJs: UV lights, effect lights, pinspots, mirror balls and gobo projectors, from Equinox, ADJ, LEDJ, Chauvet DJ and Elumen8.

UV Lights covers blacklight battens and floods such as Equinox’s UV Mini Batten 9 and UV Power Flood and LEDJ’s 150W UV COB Flood. Disco & Effect Lights holds the moving effects, including ADJ’s H2O water-flow effects and Quad Phase HP moonflower, and Equinox’s Hornet 4-in-1 beam, wash, strobe and laser effect. Pinspots put a tight beam on a mirror ball or a table centrepiece, from ADJ’s Saber Spot to LEDJ’s Event Spot range. Mirror Balls run from 30cm to 1.2m across, in silver and gold, and Gobo Projectors from Elumen8 and Equinox put a logo or pattern on a wall or floor, with IP65 Impact models for outdoor use.

Disco & Party Lights FAQs

How do I light a mirror ball? Aim one or two pinspots at it. The tight beam keeps light on the ball and off the room, so the reflections stay sharp.

What is UV lighting for? UV light makes white and fluorescent fabrics, paint and props glow, which is why it is used for UV parties and themed events.
