About 16A

Site and stage standard ceeform: 16A BS EN 60309 plugs, sockets, panel mounts, angled wall sockets and adaptors from PCE, Mennekes and Elumen8, covering blue 230V, yellow 110V and red 415V three-phase, plus conversions such as a 16A plug to PowerTwist TR1 socket and a 3-way 16A splitter.

Blue 16A is the default power connector of the events industry, feeding dimmers, LED fixtures, movers and powered speakers, so most decisions here are about format rather than rating: inline sockets for extending runs, panel mounts for building distro and racks, angled wall sockets for tidy fixed installs. Colour is voltage, blue 230V, yellow 110V for site transformer supplies, red 415V three-phase, and the pin arrangements physically prevent cross-mating, so buy the colour that matches the supply rather than the one on the shelf. Check IP ratings against the environment, IP44 splashproof covers most indoor and covered work, while IP67 versions survive standing water outdoors, and TRUE1 conversions bridge fixture mains onto standard 16A distro.

Bulk cable to terminate lives in Cable Drums, and complete 16A distribution units are under Power Distribution.
