About CO2 Jets, CO2 Guns & Accessories
CO2 jets fire a dense white column of cold vapour on a cue, the effect behind big drops in clubs, festival stages and arena shows. This section is built around The Confetti Maker system: the effect units themselves plus the hoses and fittings that connect them to a gas supply, so you can build a full line from bottle to nozzle.
There are two ways to fire. The Confetti Maker CO2 Jet is the fixed unit that sits on a stage edge, riser or truss line and is triggered as part of the show, while the CO2 Gun is the handheld option for a performer or crew member working the crowd. Everything else is plumbing. The CO2 Bottle to Hose Connector and the Bottle to Hose 90 Degree Connector take the feed from the cylinder, the angled version helping where space around the bottle is tight. The CO2 5m Hose and CO2 Hose 10m set how far the effect can sit from the gas, so measure the run from cylinder to position before ordering. The CO2 Male Quick Connector and CO2 Female Quick Connector let you break and remake lines quickly between changeovers, the CO2 Splitter branches one supply out to more than one effect, the CO2 Combiner brings lines together, and the CO2 Manual Release Valve gives a hand-operated point in the line.
CO2 jets generally run on liquid CO2, which usually means a siphon (dip tube) cylinder, so confirm the cylinder type with your gas supplier. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions and the venue’s requirements for gas cylinders. For pairing CO2 with paper effects, see Confetti, Streamers and CO2 Effects and the Confetti & Streamer Cannons range.
CO2 Jets & Cannons FAQs
What is the difference between a CO2 jet and a CO2 gun? A jet is a fixed unit placed on stage or rigging and fired as part of the show. A gun is handheld, so a performer or crew member can fire it over the crowd.
Can I run more than one CO2 jet from one bottle? The Confetti Maker CO2 Splitter branches a single supply out to more than one effect. Check the manufacturer’s instructions for how many units a line should feed.
What hose length do I need? Measure the run from the cylinder to where the effect will sit, then choose the CO2 5m Hose or CO2 Hose 10m, using quick connectors to join lengths where needed.
