BNC Connectors: 75 Ohm, HD-SDI & 12G-SDI

Bayonet-locking coax termination for video, word clock, timecode and RF work: Seetronic BNC cable connectors in variants to suit different cable constructions, plus chassis feedthrough sockets in nickel and black finishes, with Neutrik alongside.

Impedance is the first decision. The 75 ohm parts that make up the bulk of this range are the right choice for SDI video, word clock and general broadcast coax, while RF antenna runs for radio microphones want 50 ohm end to end, so match the connector to the system rather than grabbing whatever is in the drawer. The Seetronic cable males come in several rear-end versions, so check the variant against your cable’s outside diameter and construction before ordering, because a connector that clamps properly is the difference between a lead that survives touring and one that fails mid-show. Chassis feedthroughs give you a clean panel point on racks and stageboxes without soldering a tail, with black versions for front panels that need to stay discreet.

If you are cabling wireless antenna distribution, the RF 50 ohm cable category holds the matching assemblies.

BNC Connectors FAQs

75 ohm or 50 ohm? 75 ohm for SDI video, word clock and broadcast coax, the bulk of the range. 50 ohm for RF antenna runs on radio mic and IEM systems. Mixing them half-works, which is worse than failing.

Which connector variant for my cable? Seetronic variants suit different cable constructions, match the connector to the coax’s core and jacket dimensions, not just “BNC”.
