About Splitters & Adaptors

Power splitters, T-pieces, adaptors and speaker splitter boxes for distributing mains and audio feeds around a stage. The range covers PCE 16A ceeform splitters, including IP67-rated two-way and three-way units, Elumen8 Truelink T-pieces for linkable power runs, Penn Elcom speakON splitter boxes in four-way and six-way formats, and LEDJ plug adaptors.

The first rule of splitting power: a splitter adds outlets, not capacity. Everything downstream of a 16A BS EN 60309 ceeform connector still shares that 16A, so plan the total load before fanning out, and step up the supply rather than the splitter when the numbers stop working. For outdoor and wet-weather jobs, specify the IP67-rated units. On the audio side, speakON splitter boxes feed multiple cabinets in parallel, which halves the impedance the amplifier sees with each doubling, so check the amp’s minimum load rating before splitting a drive line. Feed-thru versions let a box sit mid-run rather than terminating the line.

For crews building distro and patch from scratch, the matching cable, stage box and testing ranges cover the rest of the workflow.

Splitter & Adaptor FAQs

Can I split a 16A feed? Within the supply’s capacity, yes, the split shares the same 16A, it does not create more. Total the downstream load first; IP67 two and three-way ceeform units cover outdoor splits. The maths is in power distribution explained.

What are speakON splitter boxes for? Feeding multiple passive cabinets from amplifier runs, mind the resulting impedance the amp sees; four and six-way formats are stocked.
