About Snow Machines

Fluid-based snow effects from two working machines, with Chauvet DJ also represented in the section. The Elumen8 Storm 600 is an 850W unit with a 20 litre fluid tank and roughly 8 metres of throw, run from its onboard LCD panel, DMX or a wireless remote. The ADJ Entour SNOW is a 1250W touring machine in an all-metal case that projects flakes up to 10 metres vertically and 12 metres horizontally, with 3-pin and 5-pin DMX sockets, a locking mains inlet and no warm-up time.

Match output to the space: the Storm 600 suits grottos, window displays and stage aprons, while the Entour SNOW fills larger stages and exterior frontages. Snow fluid is a consumable and settled flakes leave a light residue, so order fluid for the full run and plan floor cleaning and slip checks into the schedule.

Snow Machine FAQs

How real does fluid snow look? Dry foam flakes that drift and vanish, the Storm 600 throws ~8 m from an 850 W unit with 20 L tank, run by LCD, DMX or wireless remote. Indoor-safe and residue-light with the right fluid.

Where do machines rig? High and upwind of the landing zone, flakes fall further than you think; test the throw before doors.
