About Work Lights & Inspection Lamps
Work lights for the jobs a torch cannot do: lighting inside cases and racks, under decking, or a whole truck bay before house power is up. All are from Ledlenser’s Work range.
The inspection lamps give flood rather than beam: the W2R Work at 220 lumens, the W6R Flex at 500 lumens and the W7R Flex at 600 lumens, which adds a UV mode. The Flex models sit on a magnetic base with an articulated head, so the light stays where you put it. For lighting an area, the AF4R, AF8R and AF12R Work floodlights run on internal rechargeable batteries and ship in their own hard case, and the AL10R area light reaches 6,300 lumens, enough for a truck bay or an unlit stage.
For handheld and head-mounted light, see Torches and Head Torches.
Work Lights FAQs
Inspection lamp or floodlight? An inspection lamp lights the job in front of you, inside a case or behind a rack. A floodlight such as the AF or AL10R lights a whole area, such as a loading bay or a stage during a get-in.
What is the UV mode on the W7R Flex for? UV light shows up UV-reactive paint, tape and markings, which helps when checking glow tape and UV dressing.
