Why Balanced ArmatureBalanced armature drivers separate the diaphragm from the magnetic motor, producing tighter transients and more linear response than dynamic drivers in the same form factor. The trade-off is reduced sub-bass impact, the ATH-E50 is voiced for accurate reference monitoring, not bass-forward consumer listening.
