Equinox CLAM35 is a 75cm PVC-coated steel safety wire rated to 25kg, fitted with a sprung carabiner. Used as a secondary suspension on lighting fixtures, intelligent moving heads and effects clamped to truss or T-bars, the PVC sleeve protects fixture finishes and stops the wire marking painted truss.

Rigging guidanceA safety wire’s SWL must exceed the weight of the fixture it’s protecting. Always rig safeties around the truss chord (not through clamps or yoke handles) and minimise the drop distance to limit shock loading if the primary clamp fails. UK installs should follow BS 7906 / LOLER guidance for performance rigging.
