    About this Product

    The Accu Cable AC-DMXTERM-3/SET is a 3-pin XLR DMX terminator fitted with a 110Ω resistor across the data pair. Plugging one into the DMX output of the last fixture in a chain absorbs the signal at the end of the line, stopping reflections that cause flickering, ghosting and erratic fixture response on longer runs. Supplied as a set in a black metal-shell connector.

    Where it goesA terminator fits the unused DMX output socket on the final fixture in the chain — not the desk end. Termination matters most on long runs, high fixture counts and installs; short chains often work without it, but an unterminated line is a common cause of intermittent faults that are otherwise hard to trace.
