The Accu Cable AC-DMXTERM-5/SET is a 5-pin XLR DMX terminator fitted with a 110Ω resistor across the data pair. Plugged into the DMX output of the last fixture in a chain, it absorbs the signal at the end of the line and stops the reflections that cause flickering, ghosting and erratic fixture behaviour on longer runs. Supplied as a set in a black metal-shell connector.

Where it goesA terminator fits the unused DMX output socket on the final fixture in the chain, not the desk end. Termination matters most on long runs, high fixture counts and installs; short chains often work without it, but an unterminated line is a common cause of intermittent faults that are otherwise hard to trace.
