The ChamSys GeNetix GD10 is a 10-port RDM-transparent DMX splitter with 2 DMX inputs and 10 DMX outputs in a 1U 19″ rack format. Each output port is isolated and actively buffered, and RDM traffic passes through in both directions for full RDM control of downstream fixtures. It has two modes: 1 in to 10 out (one DMX source split to all ten outputs), or 2 in to 5 out (input 1 feeds outputs 1-5, input 2 feeds outputs 6-10). Inputs and outputs are 5-pin XLR. An RDM Disable button strips out RDM data and retimes the DMX signal. Mains powered via Neutrik powerCON TRUE1 (110-240V AC), with an M12 clamp fixing for truss.

RDM-Transparent SplittingGeNetix GD splitters pass RDM messages bidirectionally through the split, so an RDM controller can address and poll fixtures on every output line. This is not possible with passive splitters that block RDM.
