The ChamSys GeNetix GD4D is a 4-port DMX splitter in DIN rail mount format, suited to permanent AV installations in building management panels or distribution enclosures. One DMX input (with a DMX thru) distributes to four isolated outputs with RDM pass-through. All DMX connections are Phoenix screw terminals, so you wire DMX cable straight in; there are no XLR sockets on the unit. It needs an external 12-48V DC power supply, sold separately. An RDM disable option strips RDM and retimes the DMX.

RDM-Transparent SplittingGeNetix GD splitters pass RDM messages bidirectionally through the split, so an RDM controller can address and poll fixtures on every output line. This is not possible with passive splitters that block RDM.
