The Global Truss F34 PL 75cm straight section is a 75cm length of 290mm four-point box truss with heavier 3mm-wall 48mm main chords in 6082-T6 aluminium. It uses the PL conical conical connector system, with tapered steel coupler pins and R-clips; the connectors are driven home with a copper hammer for a full form fit. Global Truss aims the 3mm-wall PL range mainly at dry hire, where truss gets handled roughly.
LoadingCapacity depends on span: the manufacturer’s F34 PL load table rates a 6m span at 283kg/m UDL (about 1,700kg in total), falling to 83kg/m (about 1,000kg in total) at 12m, with the truss’s own weight already accounted for. Apply loads at panel points only, and work from the current Global Truss load span table when planning any structure.

NoteF34 PL and F34 Standard share the same 290mm outer dimension and both use conical connectors, but PL has 48mm x 3mm chords and its own PL conicals while F34 Standard has 50mm x 2mm chords, so the two do not join directly: keep to one system per run and use F34 PL corners and base plates.
