The QTX RP12 is a 12 channel DMX relay pack that switches mains power to up to 12 fixtures through 12 IEC outputs, each with its own relay. Where a dimmer pack sends a chopped voltage that can make low voltage LED fixtures and effects flicker or switch on and off at random, the RP12 simply turns each output fully on or fully off, which also saves power when kit is not in use. Control the outputs from the front-panel digital LED display, or over DMX with the pack configured as 12, 6, 3, 2 or 1 channels so outputs can be grouped to suit the rig. The unit mounts in a standard 19 inch rack.
