    The sE Electronics DM2 TNT Black is an active inline microphone preamp in a black finish, designed to sit between your dynamic or ribbon mic and your preamp, mixer, or interface. With selectable gain (+15dB or +30dB) and switchable impedance, it provides precise control over signal level and tonal character. Powered by standard 48V phantom power — an essential tool for getting the best out of low-output microphones.

    Why Use an Inline Preamp?

    Dynamic and ribbon microphones often have low output levels that push budget preamps and interfaces into their noisy upper gain ranges. The DM2 adds clean gain before the preamp stage, keeping your signal well above the noise floor. The switchable impedance also lets you fine-tune how the mic loads into the circuit — lower impedance for a brighter, tighter response, or higher impedance for a more open, natural sound.

    Requires 48V phantom power from your mixer, interface, or stage box. Do not use with condenser microphones that also require phantom power through the same channel.

    Generally if you change your mind you can return your item for a full refund within 14 days of purchase - as long as the product is unopened and unused. 

    If an item is faulty or damaged we will arrange collection free of charge and repair/replace it as quickly as possible.

    Yes. You can collect from our Production Space in Wembley, London. Please note that only a small range of our products are stored here, items showing as in stock may need to be transferred from our warehouse. If the item is in stock it will usually be ready to collect the same or next working day.
