    The Shure BETA 58A is the supercardioid stage vocal standard, the SM58’s hotter, tighter-patterned sibling, with a neodymium magnet for more output, a brightened presence rise for cut, and better rejection from wedges just off-axis. For loud stages it’s the default answer.
