The TOA IR-820SP is a ceiling-mounted powered speaker with a built-in infrared receiver and 20W digital amplifier, part of the TOA TeachIR classroom system. It works with TOA infrared wireless microphones and the IR-802T tuner, linked by CAT5 cable, and is sized for classrooms of around 10 m. Because infrared stays in the room, adjacent classrooms can run their own systems without interference.
