The Neutrik NE8MX-B-TOP is a rugged etherCON cable connector that turns a standard RJ45 plug into a locking, industrial-grade network connector for live audio, broadcast and AV installations. It houses a user-supplied RJ45 plug (not included) inside a robust die-cast shell with chuck-type strain relief, latch-locking into etherCON chassis connectors and sealed to IP65 when mated with a TOP-series receptacle, protecting fragile Ethernet links from the stresses of touring and permanent install use.
CompatibilityMates with Neutrik etherCON chassis connectors (not the CAT6 NE8FDY-C6 types) and standard RJ45 ports. Takes 5 to 8 mm cable. The etherCON system is widely used for Dante, AVB, AES50 and general network audio transport on stage boxes, mixing consoles and processors.
