The NEXO DPU (Digital Patch Unit) is a 1U intelligent output patch panel that automates loudspeaker output routing for NXAMP and NXAMP MK2 amplifiers. Designed for touring and rental engineers, it communicates directly with the NXAMP and routes the amplifier’s power outputs to the correct front-panel Speakon connectors based on the currently loaded loudspeaker setup, removing the guesswork and sticky-tape labelling of a static patch panel.

The DPU knows which loudspeaker setup the NXAMP is running and automatically routes each amplifier output to the correct Speakon, in bridge mode or not. Two NXAMPs can be linked on the same output for systems that need more than one amplifier.
