The Ampetronic ILR3 is a handheld hearing loop receiver for checking that an induction loop system is working. Its vertical pickup coil and switchable low-cut filter copy what a hearing aid hears on the T setting, so installers, venue managers and event staff can listen to the loop through the supplied headphones. It is a listening check, not a measurement tool: for compliance testing use a calibrated receiver such as the Ampetronic CMR3.
