About this Product

The Shure SM81 is a studio-standard cardioid condenser for acoustic instruments, the pencil mic on countless acoustic guitar, piano, hi-hat and overhead recordings since 1978. Flat 20Hz-20kHz response, a 10dB pad with lock, and a three-position low-frequency switch, in a steel body that tours as well as it records. LC: supplied without cable.
