The Global Truss F34 PL 2.0m straight section is a 2.0m length of 290mm four-point box truss with heavier 3mm-wall 48mm main chords in 6082-T6 aluminium. It uses the PL conical quick-connect system, steel pins and R-clips, with the conicals driven home with a copper hammer for a tight form fit. The heavier 3mm wall is aimed at dry-hire stock that gets rough handling.
LoadingCapacity depends on span: the manufacturer’s F34PL load table rates a 6m span at 283kg/m uniformly distributed (about 1,700kg in total) or 944kg as a centre point load, falling to 83kg/m (about 1,000kg in total) or 475kg centre point at 12m (self-weight already accounted for). Apply loads at panel points only, and work from the current Global Truss load span table when planning any structure.

NoteF34 PL and F34 Standard share the same 290mm profile and accessory range, and both use conical connectors, but the two conical systems do not join directly: keep to one system per run, or use the Global Truss PL to Standard conical adaptor.
