About Digital Matrix Zone Mixers

The AHM range from Allen & Heath forms the core of this section: the AHM-16 pairs a 16×16 processing matrix with 8 local analogue inputs and outputs, while the AHM-32 and AHM-64 step up to 32×32 and 64×64 matrixes, each with 12×12 local analogue I/O. All three run a 96kHz FPGA core and carry the same install toolkit: automatic mic mixing, ambient noise compensation, priority ducking and 8-band parametric EQ on every input and zone, plus dedicated loudspeaker processing.

Configuration happens in software, day-to-day control goes to wall plates and remote controllers, and I/O can grow through the option port, which accepts audio networking cards, and remote expanders rather than forcing a jump to the next chassis. The AHM-64 scales furthest, up to 64 zones for campus-sized sites. AEC modules and rack hardware sit in the accessories sub-category.
