The Ampetronic C7-1 is a stand-alone, single-output perimeter hearing loop driver delivering 7 A RMS of loop current from a 1U rack unit. It sits between the C5-1 and C10-1N for medium-sized rooms, with digital front panel setup, test tones and adjustable metal loss correction. Typical uses are function rooms, places of worship, council chambers, lecture rooms and theatres.

Stand-alone modelThe C7-1 has no network port. Remote monitoring, email fault alerts, the priority input and the custom dual-slope MLC are only on the networked C7-1N.
Metal loss correctionMLC corrects the frequency response tilt caused by metal in the building. It does not make up the overall signal loss, which can be large, so loops in steel-framed buildings still need a proper design.
