The Ampetronic C5-1N is the networked version of the C5-1 single-output perimeter hearing loop driver, delivering 5 A RMS of loop current from a 1U rack unit. Its Ethernet port gives remote adjustment, status and loop measurement monitoring, and email fault alerts. It suits meeting rooms, classrooms, places of worship, council chambers and lecture rooms where the loop needs to be checked without a site visit.

Metal loss correctionMLC corrects the frequency response tilt caused by metal in the building. It does not make up the overall signal loss, which can be large, so loops in steel-framed buildings still need a proper design.
