The Audio Technica ATS99 is a professional hypercardioid dynamic handheld microphone built for live vocal work. A high-magnetic-force magnet and step-up transformer improve capture of low-mid content at high SPL, while the tight hypercardioid pattern rejects off-axis spill, useful on loud stages and in difficult monitoring conditions.

Features
Hypercardioid pattern minimises side and rear pickup
High-magnetic-force magnet and step-up transformer
Enhanced low-mid capture at high volume
Extended frequency response for full-range reproduction
Outstanding feedback resistance under difficult monitoring
Internal shock mount reduces handling noise
Machined aluminium body, fatigue resistant
Fast transient response
NoteHypercardioid microphones have a narrow pickup lobe and a small rear null. Position wedges to the sides rather than directly behind the mic to get the best gain before feedback.
