The Audio-Technica AT4047MP is a large-diaphragm multi-pattern condenser microphone with selectable omnidirectional, cardioid and figure-of-eight polar patterns. Its transformer-coupled output and specially tuned element deliver the warm sonic characteristics of classic early FET studio microphone designs. With a wide dynamic range, exceptionally low self-noise and high SPL capability, the AT4047MP excels on vocals, strings, acoustic guitar, instrument ensembles, small vocal groups and voiceovers.
