The Neumann MCM 114 Set for High Strings is a complete miniature clip-mic system built around the KK 14 cardioid electret capsule, supplied with a body clip designed for violin, viola, mandolin and similar instruments. Designed for live reinforcement and broadcast capture, it gives string players a Neumann-grade close mic that travels with the instrument rather than fighting bow movement from a stand.
