The Shure BLX1288UK/CVL-K3E is the K3E band variant of the Shure BLX analogue UHF wireless system. The system ships with a BLX88 dual-channel tabletop receiver, one BLX2 handheld transmitter fitted with an SM58 cardioid dynamic vocal capsule and one BLX1 bodypack transmitter with the Shure CVL cardioid condenser lavalier. It is aimed at houses of worship, conference and education venues that need one handheld and one presenter channel from a single dual receiver.
Licensing
In the UK, 606 to 613.5 MHz falls under Ofcom’s Channel 38 shared licence; frequencies above 613.5 MHz within the K3E tuning range require a site-specific coordinated PMSE licence from Ofcom. Operators must hold the appropriate licence before use.
