A 16-in/8-out USB interface with eight Ultra-HDDA microphone preamps delivering up to 56 dB of gain, aimed at sessions that need real channel count, a drum kit, a band tracking live, or a rehearsal room capture. Eight further balanced line inputs bring the total to sixteen, two of them switchable to instrument level. The built-in DSP mixer handles low-latency monitor mixes with EQ and compression, so the computer is not in the monitoring path.

Latency-free monitoring, and a standalone preampThe DSP mixer does the monitor mix inside the interface, so performers hear themselves without round-trip latency through the DAW, with four-band EQ and compression per channel to make the cue mix listenable. The US-16×08 can also run as a standalone eight-channel mic preamp with no computer attached.
