An eight-channel stereo headphone amplifier for studio, stage and installation, delivering 250 mW per side on each of the eight outputs, enough to drive a set of studio cans properly rather than just adequately. Each channel can select from three sources: either of two shared stereo inputs or its own individual direct input, which is what makes it usable for personal monitoring where each performer needs something different.

Individual mixes without a personal monitor systemThe two shared stereo inputs cover the common cases, a main cue mix and an alternate, while the eight individual direct inputs let specific performers receive their own feed from a console’s aux sends. Foldback outputs chain further MH-8s, so an eight-way system scales to sixteen or twenty-four without rethinking the wiring.
