The Neutrik NE8MX-B-TOP-14 is a rugged etherCON cable connector that turns a standard RJ45 plug into a locking, industrial-grade network connector, with a larger boot to accommodate thicker cable diameters. Built for live audio, broadcast and AV installations, it protects fragile Ethernet links inside a robust die-cast shell with chuck-type strain relief, latch-locking into etherCON chassis connectors and sealed to IP65 when mated with a TOP-series receptacle. The RJ45 plug is not included.
CompatibilityMates with Neutrik etherCON chassis connectors (not the CAT6 NE8FDY-C6 types) and standard RJ45 ports. The etherCON system is widely used for Dante, AVB, AES50 and general network audio transport on stage boxes, mixing consoles and processors.
