The Peli 1607 Air is the wheeled workhorse of the Air range, a full-size transit case built from Peli’s HPX² polymer, which the manufacturer rates as up to 40% lighter than other polymer cases. With 53.5 × 40.2 × 29.5 cm of interior space it swallows a lighting fixture, a camera body with long glass, or a rack of radio mic kit, and it does it at 5.99 kg empty rather than the weight a comparable polypropylene case would carry. For touring crews paying excess baggage by the kilo, that difference pays for itself.
