Balanced outputs matter on long runsThe stereo XLR outputs let you place the receiver where Bluetooth reception is best, near the front of a rack or out in the room, and still run the audio a long way back to the amplifier without picking up hum. On unbalanced RCA that same run would be a problem. A Stereo/Mono switch on the rear sums the signal where a mono zone is being fed.
