The Ampetronic FSM is a handheld magnetic field strength meter for setting up and commissioning hearing loop systems to IEC 60118-4 (BS EN 60118-4). It measures field strength, A-weighted background noise and frequency response at 100 Hz, 1 kHz and 5 kHz, and has a headphone output for listening to the loop. It works on any manufacturer’s loop and is used by installers for commissioning, site surveys and maintenance visits.
