The Sennheiser AD 1800 is a passive directional antenna for wireless microphone systems operating in the 1.8 GHz range. Its directional pickup pattern improves reception over the working area while rejecting interference from behind, making it well suited to fixed installs, theatre and live-event rigs where a remote, optimally-placed antenna position is needed. As a passive antenna it requires no DC power and connects to the receiver via standard 50 ohm coaxial cable.
CompatibilityDesigned for Sennheiser 1.8 GHz (1G8) wireless systems. Works with the AB 3-1G8 antenna booster, ASA 214-1G8 antenna splitter, and RG 58 or GZL 5000 antenna cable. Wideband 1,400-2,400 MHz frequency range covers the 1.8 GHz band.
