The Audio-Technica AT4050 is a large-diaphragm multi-pattern condenser microphone with switchable cardioid, omnidirectional and figure-of-eight polar patterns. A long-standing studio standard, it delivers clean, rich and accurate sound reproduction on vocals, piano, strings, drum overheads and guitar amps. Its externally polarised dual-diaphragm capsule maintains precise polar pattern definition, while high SPL handling (149 dB, 159 dB with pad) and a 132 dB dynamic range ensure versatility across demanding applications. Hand-assembled and individually inspected. Supplied with AT8449a shock mount.
