The Shure BLX88 is a dual-channel tabletop receiver for the Shure BLX analogue UHF wireless system, supplied without transmitters. It is the K3E band variant and runs two independent BLX channels through a single 1U half-width chassis. It is intended as an expansion or replacement receiver for venues already using compatible BLX1 bodypacks or BLX2 handhelds.
Licensing
In the UK, 606 to 613.5 MHz falls under Ofcom’s Channel 38 shared licence; frequencies above 613.5 MHz within the K3E tuning range require a site-specific coordinated PMSE licence from Ofcom. Operators must hold the appropriate licence before use.
