The sE Electronics sE4400 MKII is the newly redesigned generation of sE’s acclaimed multi-pattern large-diaphragm condenser. sE’s own positioning sums it up as “classic sound meets modern craftsmanship”, a hand-crafted gold-sputtered dual-diaphragm capsule paired with a die-cast metal housing built for studio and touring use. Designed for vocals, drum overheads, electric guitar amps, brass, and any high-SPL source where a musical, full-bodied character matters.

Successor to the sE4400aThis is the redesigned 2024 generation, not the older sE4400a. Same form factor and four-pattern flexibility, but a new capsule and housing tuned for a fuller, more musical character. The older 4400a was voiced for transparency; the new 4400 leans warmer and more flattering on sources straight to tape.
